Slightly russian army inspired, altho the hat and the boots are largely to blame for that

Ah ! Welcome readers to a week of the fantastic And whats so fantastic about THIS week you might ask, well nothing more or less than that it is this blogg’s FANTASY theme week
Yes! Fantastic isn’t it !
Oh enough with the blabber, on to the clothes !
This look’s details were inspired by Gormenghast the movie, a BBC short series based on the book by the same name by Mervyn Peake.
And the jacket is one I sewed in 2006, it is based on an earlier version I made in 2004 and that someone has nicked…:(
It ended up looking kinda like a matador jacket altho that was not any part of the inspiration.
It was originally made to be part of a baroquesque fox prince costume.

Wash, sew and repair – in preparation for…Fantasy theme week :P
In Clothes diary 2010 on April 17, 2010 at 6:55 amYes ! I know !! No posts for a week ! And I am abit ashamed of this fact really….buuuuut it has been a week of laundry doing and a wash, sew and repair week, followed by the same for the week end. I am also watching some fantasy movie favourites and getting inspired to make some alterations for next weeks theme – Fantasy theme week.
Might or might not work in an office setting…I shall keep you posted and let you know
